Making a Difference

Annual College Scholarship

Abby was very excited about the prospect of college. At Abby's Promise, we are dedicated to ensuring that Abby's love of school lives on. She attended school through much of her cancer battle and received multiple college acceptances, four of which included full scholarships. Since our dear Abby could not attend college, we want her memory to live on by awarding a college scholarship to a graduating Brooklyn Prospect Charter High School senior each year.

Head and Neck Cancer Research

With this initiative, our goal is to raise money for research of head and neck cancers. Our hope is that one day, no other family has to lose a loved one as we have.

Financial Support for Families of Pediatric Cancer Patients

Abby’s family knows too well the financial hardship that comes with having a loved one fighting cancer. With this initiative, our goal is to assist other families affected by cancer by paying one family’s bill per month.

About our angel, Abby

Our precious Abby is resting in peace. She fought cancer for nearly 1.5 years with such grace and strength, promising herself to smile everyday. She never complained and was optimistic even when she knew that God had other plans.

Many people don't accomplish what she did in 18 years. She liked trying different things and she tried so many different sports. She was always up for a challenge and never allowed any to tell her she can’t do it. Abby was always independent and committed to her education. She loved writing and was so brilliant. She was so excited when she received college acceptances, four with full scholarships.

She was selfless, always thinking of others. Simply put, she was the perfect, purest soul, and she is already guiding us to make a difference.

God sent her here to touch so many hearts, and through Abby's Promise we hope to do the same.

Abby will live forever in our hearts.
